ProFlight was conceived to fill a niche in the turboprop and jet training markets. It was apparent that a need existed for a high-quality alternative to FlightSafety and other large institutional training facilities. This need arose from the apparent lack of experienced, high quality instructors combined with problematic aging flight simulators.

By combining high quality, modern ground instruction with professional type-specific training in our new full motion FTD and optional in-aircraft training by experienced high time instructors, ProFlight has achieved a level of training previously unobtainable in this market.
ProFlight pioneered the industry's first computer based animated systems presentations, which are now being imitated by FlightSafety and Simuflite. By using personal computers and high-resolution animation techniques, static textbook diagrams are brought to life in vivid moving color. This also allows comprehensive diagnostics to be explored in infinite animated detail. Our innovative idea is the nucleus of the ProFlight ground school and was pivotal in achieving the necessary approval from the top aviation insurance underwriters. This high-tech instructional tool,
combined with our own comprehensive color training manuals and other course materials provide an informative, real-world training environment unparalleled in the industry. ProFlight's computer based training development arm, AniJet Software, has developed similar computer programs for FlightSafety, the airlines and many other aviation training facilities world-wide.
ProFlight has become such a viable competitor to FlightSafety's Conquest training program in Wichita, that in March 1998 their marketing department mass mailed a letter to all Conquest owners comparing ProFlight's Conquest training program to theirs! FlightSafety's marketing faux pas put ProFlight firmly on the map, acknowledging our foothold in the turboprop training market! We consider their letter to be the highest compliment possible to our professional training curriculums... second to our own customer's comments, of course!
The core of the ProFlight program is the presentation of real-world, model-specific training far and above the industry standard. Providing high quality, professional ground and simulator/flight training, realistically and effectively is paramount to the ProFlight mission.
