We offer two courses for the Garmin 530/430 GPs units. The Intial Training course is for the new user or beginner and covers the Garmin 530/430 operation as well as GPS theroy, approaches, terminology and ATC considerations.
Our advanced 'Tips & Tricks' presentation is for the experienced user and delves into the many, many features of these units. GPS theory and approach procedures are also covered.
Each student will operate their own computer terminal with the Garmin GPS simulation software during the classroom lecture for the ultimate hands-on learning experience. The Intial Training course takes approximately 4 hours and all course materials are provided. The Tips & Tricks course takes approximately 2 hours and all course materials are provided.
